In Vietnam, we celebrate a baby's one-month birthday with two special ceremonies called thôi nôi and đầy tháng.
This is when we introduce our baby to family and ancestors.
We make offerings to the Twelve Heavenly Midwives, who protect children.
Family gathers together with lots of food and drinks.
Everyone gives red envelopes filled with money for the baby.
This day is full of happiness.
We feel relief and joy because our baby is one month old.
It’s a wonderful celebration!
